Project Implementers
The Project is funded by the European Union. The National Planning Commission (NPC) is the Contracting Authority while Oxfam and International Centre for Energy, Environment Development (ICEED) are the key implementing partners with back-up support from organized local NGOs.
Project Location
The project which is divided into two Lots has its implementing office located in Katsina State, Nigeria. Lot 1 and 2 is managed by Umaru Musa Yar Adua University and Oxfam/ICEED respectively. The focal LGAs in Lot 2 are: Mashi, Mai Adua, Dutsi, Daura, Sandamu, Zango and Buare.
Project Objective
To sustainably improve the fuel-wood balance and resilience of livelihoods of rural households in Mashi, Mai Adua, Dutsi, Daura, Sandamu, Zango, Baure Local Government Areas in Katsina state.
